A new voice recognition system
Devices that are able to recognize human speech and identify them are not particularly new. In fact, they are very widespread. Some phones have voice control, ie cash and recently we have a new voice-operated remote control for Home Media Center. The last one is very interesting and we will come back at a later date. But most of them are very simple. In general, they have a series of words preinstalled, for example on the menu, and they have to ask users to each step of the navigation or what ever the voice recognition software. To make things better, European researchers have looked at the idea of easing on the whole process, making it faster. In return, speech recognition is more complicated from the inside. However, it can not stop trying.
