HP introduces flexible Electronic Skins

HP has announced the launch of the new display technology with Electronic Skins, or Eskin. The Eskin is a flexible reflective color film may be based on a variety of devices – including mobile phones, digital cameras, MP3 players, notebooks and Netbook.This new device architecture is compatible with roll-to-roll plastic circuits which, in combination with proprietary, electrically controllable, “Colors” to pressure performance, such as color and transparency. Using a technology such as color printing, HP is developing the ability to produce special “ink” colors in the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM range. The lively, print colors have excellent visibility in direct sunlight and can be electronically layer in a transparent state, which the area below the Eskin film.
