Nikon makes D3s official with ISO 102,400 sensitivity

Nikon, as now expected, the morning D3s. The upgrade to the mainstay Pro DSLR adds 720p, 24fps video like the D300s before but it is mainly due to its vastly improved sensitivity to light. The 12-megapixel camera is one of the first to shoot up to ISO 12,800 will be set at normal settings and also manually to shoot at ISO 102,400 – four times the original D3 and other top-level DSLRs.
Such improvement can produce better recordings, concerts, nightly news events or any other situation where a blur-free-kick is critical, but the appeal of a flash is not an option, according to Nikon.
Added sensitivity comes into play also in the movie mode because the user can draw on the full ISO range during recording and better capture low-light video. The camera can snap like JPEG photos in the middle of the video and basic editing on camera.
The picture quality still hangs on a 16-bit pipeline with 14-bit analog-digital conversion, but adjustments have the ability to D3s, improved to minimize chromatic aberration on the horizontal axis. A better system for removing dust and Sucher also a slight increase.
As before, the D3s relies on up to nine frames per second (11 at a lower resolution DX crop) and hinges on the same 51-point autofocus system and 3-D measurement system as shoot all the mid to upper range of previous Nikon DSLRs. Storage still hangs from two CF cards and should have the opportunity, RAW + JPEG on separate cards as well as the use of a card, either as overflow or backup.
The D3s should ship in late November for $ 5200 and will be in early December by a new follow-DX mount lens, the AF-S 85mm f3.5G ED VR. It always should still work with an FX-mount camera like the D3s and the camera is designed to provide either a physical point of view, while still allowing close-ups.
