Samsung is the latest PC manufacturer to jump on the Quick-start train. The company has with Phoenix HyperSpace at all future Samsung mobile PCs, including netbooks load partnership.
Hyperspace is actually a low-profile Linux distribution that hangs out at a small hard drive partition, allowing you to choose between hyperspace or Windows when you restart your computer. Hyperspace has the advantage of booting in a matter of seconds and gives you quick and easy access to a handful of applications, including Firefox, Skype, and multimedia software.
I personally am not so convinced that someone one of these quick-boot required solutions. But if you spend your time with Skype, Firefox, and the few other applications that are in Hyperspace available, perhaps it is Windows, do not you actually need.
