
Toshiba today announced the launch of its first direct-methanol fuel cell product: Dynario. The Dynario has a dedicated cartridge for refueling on the go, and only 3,000 units during the initial launch. It runs on mixture of methanol and oxygen in the air and creates a chemical reaction between the two in the fuel cell current. Orders will be from 22 Returns accepted for October 29 Start.
The palm-sized Dynario is Toshiba’s first DMFC product. Is paid once with an injection of methanol solution taken from the cartridge, which begins Dynario to electricity, a wireless phone or other supported mobile devices through a USB port is provided to generate. In a single mine of methanol, which in a moment (about 20 seconds), Dynario enough electricity can be generated for free by two typical mobile phones.
