Dulin’s Books brings 6-inch e-reader to US

Dulin’s Books this week announced that they soon their Boox 60, an e-book reader that an integrated Wi-Fi connection and a WebKit-based browser can ship. The browser will display user messages, blogs and wiki sites and content for the reader. The 6-inch display has Vizplex touch capability with Wacom Technology, and a stylus helps users to take notes.
The device is powered by a 532MHz processor and has 512MB of built-in memory, which expands freely thanks to a microSD memory card slot. The screen is 16 shades of gray to reproduce, while aiming the 1600 mAh battery for more than 8,000 last turn. Supported file formats are EPUB, PDF, Mobi, HTML, TXT, PDB and CHM to read. Adobe Digital Editions is the software that allows DRM EPUB and PDF support. Pictures displayed are JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF and TIFF formats. MP3s can be played, and has the device, text to speech function as well.
The Boox 60 can now be ordered for $ 349, and international shipments is mid-January.
