Swype for Android available for download

Officially, only for Windows Mobile (with Verizon Samsung Omnia II is the first smartphone to get it) is Swype for Android in a preview version – even though at the moment, it only works with phones that have WVGA displays, such as Motorola Droid milestone.

With Swype users can enter text faster and easier, with only one continuous finger (or stylus) motion in the soft keyboard.

To download Swype for Android, head on over to DroidMuff.in. You’ll also find instructions for installing and using it there.

There is no word on when the official start Swype application for Android, but it should not be long before this occurs.
