Sony has shown a new PND – GPS Navigation Device – also known as a pocket GPS because it works well on a bike or simply on foot, instead of just working on a vehicle. Anyway, the new GPS code-named NV-U35 and is for the Japanese market.
In relation to the functions of the NV-U35 GPS has a 3.5-inch QVGA screen and meets IPX5 standards which means it is waterproof. It has 8 GB of internal memory and can play AVC files and MPEG4 and WMV, and MP3. The Sony GPS-System bag weighs only 176grams.
