
The DIR-685 was first introduced way back in January at CES, and now the company has started shipping them. The DIR-685 features a built-in Draft N Wi-Fi module that can communicate with network-attached storage devices.
But that’s not everything it does. The 3.2-inch LCD screen will play streaming video or you can use it as a digital picture frame. If you statistics, it is status information displayed in the form of charts and gauges. Like weather, but no window and looked out? You can use the screen program to produce weather forecasts and other live-view Internet content. This router does a lot.
The NAS feature supports UPnP Server features, and BitTorrent downloads.

Nova media has GlobeSurfer X.1 launched a wireless b g n router that connects via Ethernet or 3G modem. The router has two 100 Mbps Ethernet interfaces, one USB 2.0 port for a 3G connection and supports a standard USB 2.0 port, an external drive or offers print service with a connected printer. It uses a web interface for configuration and comes with a Quick Setup Wizard for setting up a local network.
The GlobeSurfer X.1 supports WEP, WPA and WPA2, has a built-in pre-configured firewall and provides an expert mode for custom configurations. X.1 The DSL also has failover enabled 3G network if the DSL feed to break down. It automatically switches back to DSL, though there the food.
The GlobeSurfer X.1 works with Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and Windows 2000, XP and Vista.
